It all started when…

I realized that an interest in fashion was relegated to the dregs of popular culture, dismissed as frivolity and altogether an unserious endeavor.  In reality though, none of us can escape the pressing need to dress nor can we circumvent the way in which we arrive at the decision of what to wear.

So I created this blog for lovers of fashion who are meticulous about what they wear and why—for those who appreciate proportion, balance, seasonality and function when it comes to putting together an ensemble.
